Normative is now looking for an Accountant

Normative is accelerating the transition to a net zero world. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints.

Our Finance team is the beating heart of the company, keeping the other departments supplied with the resources they need to carry out their roles. Without financial health, Normative disappears – and can’t help companies reach net zero.

In this role, you will report to the Head of Accounting and support in the daily work in the Finance team. Normative is a fast-growing company and we are looking for an Accountant who, besides their daily duties, is not hesitant to take on new responsibilities and tasks within their knowledge space to support the team.

What you will do at Normative to aid the transition towards net zero emissions:

• Be responsible for a legal entity within the Normative Group

• Month end close as well as year-end close

• Reconciliations

• VAT

• Support and coach other team members in the Finance Team

Experience we’re seeking:

• We believe you have ERP-knowledge, where experience from working in Netsuite is considered beneficial

• We believe you have excellent skills in Excel and/or Google Sheet

• We believe that you have an academic degree within a relevant field and a few years of experience from a similar role

• We believe that you are fluent in both English and Swedish 

• Previous work experience within Auditing is considered beneficial

• Experience working towards the UK market or with companies in UK is beneficial

Location

We operate on a hybrid remote model with offices in Stockholm, London and Copenhagen. We believe that you are based in the greater Stockholm region and can be in the Stockholm office a couple of days a week, with the possibility to work remotely when it is more suitable for you and your work schedule.
