Normative is now looking for a CTO in Stockholm to lead the Engineering organisation in Sweden.

About the Role

Normative is looking for a Chief Technology Officer to replace the current CTO, who leaves after successfully upgrading the product, infrastructure and team.

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, VP Product, SVP Sales & Director of Climate Strategy, VP Operations & CFO,the CTO will take a lead role in helping deliver the product road map and run a high velocity, high quality and high reliability team. In particular, the CTO will take a leading role in using AI and ML to increase automation and decrease the time to value for customers across the board and promote a culture of experimentation within the tech team.

What You'll Do

• Set ambitious technical direction, vision, road map and goals for the full company, in particular in terms of using AI/ML to increase automation and decrease the workload of our clients and internal servicing teams without compromising on rigor or accuracy

• Accountable for technical (e.g. product and technical road map) execution and outcomes internally as well as towards prospects and customers.

• Enable technical leadership in building high-performing, remote-first execution-oriented, collaborative and diverse teams.

• Together with the Executive leadership team develop and execute on long term strategies to grow the organization and enable it to fulfil its mission.

• Make the best use of engineering resources to hit our goals: a dependable and reliable product, leading the industry on key operational metrics, based on an efficient infrastructure, with a strong team that delivers reliably and feels empowered to place bets at pace.

• Upskill the engineering management team and create an environment that enables the internal growth of high-potential individuals.

• Set, own and visualize critical metrics and targets to ensure company goals are tracked and met.

• Bring fresh ideas and a reasoned approach to the executive team.

• Build best practices rooted in proven methods and enable high efficiency across core operations to enable delivery at pace with high reliability.

• Ultimate responsibility for the operations of the product including disaster recovery, incident management and business continuity.

• Represent Normative vis a vis the ecosystem and execute on ecosystem business strategies (co-creator, integration etc) Enterprise/Ecosystem.

What you bring

• Extensive CTO experience with successful results from a rapidly growing tech scale up with high complexity.

• Deep experience from B2B SaaS companies targeted towards medium to enterprise customers.

• Proven understanding of the intersection of SaaS and the critical technical roadmap to execute their design, construction and architecture.

• Proven impact and fundamental understanding of data architecture, science and modeling to achieve business outcomes.

• Proven success as an empowering leader with obsessions on execution, owning what matters and building high performing tech organizations.

• Proven success in building remote, diverse and inclusive teams excelling at business focus and cross-collaboration.

• Exceptional communication skills and deeply collaborative.

Location

Normative operates on a hybrid remote model with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London. For this role you will be located in our wonderful HQ in Stockholm.

At this time we are not able to offer relocation or VISA support for this position.
